How we work together to build your website

Whether we are building a brand new website or redesigning an existing one, we follow a similar process in developing your personalized web site solution:

• We begin by working with you to understand the goals of your web site, find out who your audience is, what products and services you plan to offer and also take a survey of your competition so we understand how you fit into the market place.

• We will work with you to provide technical specifications for the imagery and provide suggestions on how to improve upon your existing content and what content you should consider creating. One thing that should be kept in mind is that all of your content needs to be written in "your voice" as it is your persona that people will associate with both your company and your web site.

• If you do not already have a web site, we will help you secure your domain name and secure a hosting account for your web site.

• Upon receiving your content and images, we will begin to look at logical grouping of content and how it aligns with the focus of your web site to formulate a proposed navigation scheme and begin building your web site.

• Once we have agreed upon a navigation scheme and overall layout, we will leveraging our knowledge of web site design, usability and search engine optimization best practices, to blend all of this content together into a functional web site that will present a friendly user experience to your customers.

• All throughout this process, you will find that we seek feedback and ask lots of questions to make sure that we are on the same page with how your web site and business ultimately will be represented to the world. When both parties deem the web site design ready, we enable it for the rest of the world to enjoy.

• How long does it take for a design to be completed?

The time frame of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.




• Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?

Yes, but we will help you though the process of selecting the proper hosting and domain name the meet your specific needs.




• How much will it cost to create my website?

The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. A basic website will cost approximately $ 750.00 , a simple ECommerce site $ 1500.00, a complex ECommerce site/Database Driven site $ 2000.00+. Obviously each site has to be treated on it's individual requirements, but these figures should give you an idea of a ballpark figure.

We request a 50% deposit for all web site design projects. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project.

Payment can be made by check, credit card or by using PayPal.

The only ongoing cost will be your annual hosting and domain name renewal fees.




• What do I get for my money?

All of our designs are created and conceived from your requirements. We don't use ready made templates, all our sites are designed from scratch.

• Do I need to send a deposit for the work?

Yes, we ask for 50% of the quoted project estimate from the client to begin development of your web site.




• Will we need to have a meeting?

In the majority of cases an in person meeting isn't necessary and almost all of our sites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only.




• How do I get listed in Google?

We submit all websites we design to Google, Yahoo! and DMOZ.




• What website design support do you offer after my website project is completed?

After the completion of a website project we are available for after sales service. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the site free of charge in the first month.

Any support thereafter will be charged at an hourly rate of $75.00 in which we always provide a free upfront estimate before any work is done.
