Whether you are a brand-new studio or have been in business for many years, this introduction to business planning will focus on what you need to succeed.

About Tracy Budabin:
Tracy Harris Budabin, Cr.Photog., ABI, has worked for SuccessWare for 7 years, where she has had the opportunity to help studio owners learn about their businesses. She has helped them track their income, session counts, sales averages, and expenses. With Tracy’s guidance, the owners make decisions on what they need to do to make their studios more profitable. She has also spoken about business planning and its effects at state conventions and at Imaging USA for over 4 years. Tracy’s 10 years in the photography industry have allowed her to work with hundreds of studios through teaching, private consulting, and mentoring. Her goal is to help studios learn to track their numbers, understand what's needed to create and use a business plan, and most importantly, become as profitable as possible. In addition to working for SuccessWare, she has managed several photography studios for over 12 years.

Overview:
Featuring the largest photography expo in North America, diverse educational sessions, and the world’s largest International Print Exhibition, Imaging USA has established itself as the first major photographic event of the year that brings together the forward-thinking photographers and business leaders whose ideas spark innovation and change in the industry.

Every January, thousands of photographers attend Imaging USA to bolster their education on both the artistic and business levels. They leave the event equipped with new (and renewed) friendships, inspiration, and new money-making ideas and resources they can immediately use in their own business.

Imaging USA began as the annual convention and tradeshow for Professional Photographers of America and is the longest running national photographic convention, expo and image exhibition in the United States. In 2000, the name was changed to Imaging USA to reflect the evolution of the show and changes in the industry.

In 2006, Imaging USA became home to two new conferences: SEPCON (the Sport and Event Photographers Conference), the annual conference of the Society of Sport and Event Photographers, and the Commercial Photography Conference, the annual conference of Commercial Photographers International. In 2006, Imaging USA also welcomed Adobe as an official sponsor of the Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for Photographers educational track. Finally, in 2008, EPIC School began to co-locate with this event.
